CAKE DECORATION – Heather will ‘sing a rainbow’. Well – make a rainbow anyway! We will make an edible rainbow with a special message for Headway which can be shared at teatime or taken home. Cake decoration using different techniques.
OR
LAUGHTER YOGA – Andrew is investigating the possibility that laughter yoga can lift the spirits of people with chronic conditions. He finds that people with or without a disability really enjoy laughter yoga. He’s often asked to repeat these sessions. Indeed, Matthew (Headway Pembs) joined one of Andrew’s sessions – he said, “It is a unique experience not to be missed!”
OR
RADIO CARS – Weather permitting, Kev and a friend will bring 2 or 3 radio control vehicles. They will build a course that’s not too difficult. They’ll give as many participants as possible a bit of hands on experience with them
Bookings: Made in branch meetings or by emailing Rodger (r.a.weddell@gmail.com). There are different limits to the number of places available for each activity. Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. So, book now, to be sure of getting a place.
NB: Older children are welcome to join in but this event is for adults with an injury and their supporters be they relatives or volunteers so any children that come need to be able to enjoy adult activities.
