Our theme is: Let’s just have a bit of fun with friends that get us.
Welcome and registration 10.30 a.m. – Finish 4.00 p.m.
10.30-11.15 Tea and Coffee
11.15-12.30 Ice Breakers to connect us
12.30-1.45 Lunch – all together in our own space – a finger buffet lunch will be provided by the Abbot’s Kitchen but you can bring a few nibbles for yourself and/or to share
2.00-3.30 Activities: Group Music Making OR Tai Chi
(We’ll provide a Treasure Hunt, if at least 10 tell us you want one by the end of the second week in May.)
Group Music Making – Jo’s a very experienced music therapist
participation’s dead easy – enjoy in whatever way works for you
you can just be there and/or play an instrument and/or sing
OR
Tai Chi – Suzanne’s an experienced instructor who comes highly recommended.
You can book a place at branch meetings
NB: Older children are welcome to join in but this event is for adults with an injury and their supporters be they relatives or volunteers so any children that come need to be able to enjoy adult activities.
Margam Abbey, Port Talbot, SA13 2TA, is off the A48, 2 miles east of Port Talbot, ¼ mile from exit 38 of M4.
Exit the M4 at Junction 38 and take the A48 towards Pyle. Take the first turning on the left into Ten Acre Wood. Follow the road up the hill and to the right. Continue to the end where you will find the abbey.
