Support Meeting Summary Letter – June 2017
Hi All, Mike joined us for the first time. He had an injury 2001 years ago. He was living in Australia at the time. He became quite forgetful and went from being right handed to left handed after the accident. Nevertheless, he’s a musician and continued drumming to a high standard. He played at large concerts and filled his life with music. However, both of his parents live in Wales. They were diagnosed as having dementia. Pembrokeshire Prospectors Open Day
Come and visit our stall at the Pembrokeshire Prospectors' Open Day. Saturday 10 June at the Picton Centre, Freemans Way, Haverfordwest SA61 1UG. 12pm - 4pm. There will be displays of Axe-Heads, Roman Artefacts and Finds in Pembrokeshire declared Treasure by the Coroner. Also lots of photographs and other memorabilia will be shown. Hi All, Mike started us by saying that he had been having a clear out of “stuff”. He finds that there’s no point in keeping something if he hasn’t been using it for a year. This got us onto the emotional bonds we attach to objects and our strong tendency to store many objects rather than face the fact that we’ll rarely if ever use them. Of course, it’s also good to keep some objects that have sentimental value as reminders of people we care about or important events.
